National Accreditation Reaffirms Organization’s Commitment to Safe, High-Quality Addiction Treatment and Recovery Services
June 11, 2026 — Valley Hope Addiction Treatment and Recovery, a nonprofit leader in in the substance use disorder (SUD) space since 1967, has been awarded accreditation by Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Valley Hope has earned The Gold Seal of Approval®, recognizing the organization’s ongoing commitment to providing safe, effective, high-quality care to patients and families across its 16 treatment centers in six states.
The Gold Seal of Approval® is awarded following a rigorous, unannounced on-site review in which Joint Commission surveyors evaluate compliance with nationally established standards across all areas of patient care, safety, and organizational operations. The accreditation process is continuous, requiring Valley Hope to demonstrate ongoing compliance with Joint Commission standards 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
“Valley Hope has always held ourselves to the highest standards of care, not because accreditation requires it, but because our patients and their families deserve nothing less,” said Dr. Patrick Hall, President and CEO, Valley Hope. “Earning Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval is a validation of the extraordinary work our clinical teams, staff, and leadership do every single day to ensure every patient receives safe, evidence-based, compassionate treatment.”
