Staff Spotlight
Danielle McIntyre, Counselor
How has your experience at Valley Hope affected you personally?
Valley Hope has fostered deep and meaningful change in my life. There is something very beautiful about the vulnerability and human connection brought about by assisting and encouraging another to achieve a life of joy in sobriety. I am certainly a better person for having witnessed such strength and resiliency.
Talk about compassionate care. What does "loving the patient back to health" mean both figuratively and clinically?
Valley Hope as an organization truly understands compassionate care. We work collectively to "love a patient back to health." Clinically, this is reflected through providing patients with tools for lasting change and improved quality of life by way of engaging consistent, comprehensive, and evidence-based treatment. Overall and simply stated, holding a loving space and walking a journey of healing with another until they can once again love themselves.
