Valley Hope Addiction Treatment and Recovery Opens New Omaha Outpatient Center
New center will improve access to high quality SUD treatment, help address Omaha’s opioid epidemic.
(OMAHA, NEBRASKA) — National provider Valley Hope Addiction Treatment and Recovery opened a new specialized substance use disorder (SUD) outpatient center in Omaha on May 22, 2024.
Valley Hope of Omaha’s SUD dual diagnosis treatment services include PHP (highly intensive treatment), a dual diagnosis intensive outpatient program (IOP), virtual IOP, continuing recovery care, family care, and medication assisted treatment (MAT) if needed. MAT is a medical and therapeutic intervention that uses FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a whole-patient approach to the treatment of opioids and alcohol addiction.
“With this comfortable, expansive space, our clinical team will be able to provide our exceptional care to more patients in a convenient outpatient setting,” Kayla Allmendinger, Valley Hope of Omaha Clinical Program Director, said. “Outpatient SUD treatment services are critical to the greater Omaha community in continuing to fight the addiction epidemic that has impacted so many families.”
Allmendinger said the new location expands access to Omaha-area patients and families seeking high quality, intensive addiction treatment, including PHP, IOP, and MAT, while they continue to live at home and maintain family responsibilities and work schedules. Valley Hope of Omaha offers convenient options for treatment, including morning, evening, and online programs.
Valley Hope also provides residential addiction treatment in O’Neill, Nebraska. The new Omaha outpatient center also provides services including recovery support, relapse prevention, and individual therapy.
“Our dual diagnosis outpatient programs also serve as keys to the transition from inpatient treatment to everyday life in recovery,” Allmendinger said.
Valley Hope Addiction Treatment and Recovery has served the state of Nebraska since 1977. In five decades, the innovative, nationally certified, treatment provider has expanded to 17 residential and outpatient programs in six states.
