Denver Area Addiction Treatment Center Expands Access, Services

Valley Hope Addiction Treatment and Recovery expands access in Denver area.

Parker location expansion improves access to SUD treatment, helps combat opioid epidemic

PARKER, Colo.—With addiction rates, opioid overdoses, and deaths rising across the community, national provider Valley Hope Addiction Treatment and Recovery has expanded access to high quality inpatient care in the Denver and surrounding areas.

Valley Hope of Parker has opened an expanded, state of the art facility to provide more access to patients and families seeking high quality, intensive addiction treatment, including medically-monitored detox and MAT, building on a 35-year legacy of recovery in Colorado.

“This expansion directly addresses the needs of our community members who are battling addiction,” Scott Spielman, Valley Hope of Colorado Executive Director, said. “By increasing our capacity and enhancing our services, we are able to help more people, save more lives, and restore more families.

Studies show it is critical that when a patient decides to seek treatment, they receive quick access. Only one in 10 of those struggling receive addiction treatment.

“With the opioid crisis continuing to affect our community, this expansion couldn’t come at a more critical time,” Spielman said. “Patients have endured a waiting list for periods of time when we were at capacity.”

Spielman said the expansion provides access to Denver-area patients and families seeking high quality, intensive addiction treatment, including residential, medically-monitored detoxification, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT), as well as case management and ongoing recovery support services after treatment.

Valley Hope also provides outpatient addiction treatment services in Denver.

Valley Hope Addiction Treatment and Recovery has served the state of Colorado since 1989. In five decades, the innovative, nationally certified, treatment provider has expanded to 17 residential and outpatient programs in six states. The nonprofit organization has served more than 350,000 patients and families.
