On May 3, 2016, Valley Hope hosted an anniversary and rededication ceremony at the Grapevine Addiction Treatment Center. More than 110 community members attended the event, along with local dignitaries and Valley Hope alumni. Since opening in 2001, the Valley Hope Grapevine Center has expanded its services from residential to outpatient substance use disorder treatment. “We have served over 8,000 patients over the last 15 years, but that is not enough,” said CEO and President Pat George. “There are nearly 2 million Texans abusing or dependent on alcohol or other drugs. The nation’s substance abuse epidemic continues to spread throughout our cities, our communities and our schools. I commend Valley Hope for their efforts to address the crisis and tackle the issue of such great importance head on.”
