Valley Hope President and CEO Dan McCormick joins National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers Board.
The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) recently appointed Dan McCormick, an executive with Valley Hope, to its board of directors.
McCormick has built a 35-year career in the health care industry and currently serves as president and CEO of nonprofit addiction treatment provider Valley Hope.
McCormick’s previous experience includes serving as CEO of the Hazelden Foundation, a national addiction treatment organization based in Minneapolis. In addition, Dan was president and CEO of ETR Associates, behavioral health design nonprofit, and he worked as senior vice president and executive director at Phoenix House New England, a behavioral health organization.
“Dan brings a wealth of addiction treatment operation experience and acumen to our board,” Marvin Ventrell, NAATP CEO, said. “We look forward to working with Dan as we continue to grow our association’s effectiveness and mission toensure the availability and highest quality of addiction treatment.”
NAATP is a nonprofit professional membership society and trade association of top tier treatment providers throughout the continuum of care. NAATP provides its members with clinical and operational resources and engages in law and policy advocacy that advances access to high quality care. NAATP serves as a convening body that brings the industry together to promote collegiality and the dissemination of best practices.

McCormick earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of Minnesota.
