Residential Treatment

A SAFE PLACE TO HEAL.

As a resident in our treatment centers, you’ll be treated with respect and compassion.

Residential addiction treatment offers full-time care in a structured environment. We strongly believe in a 30-day treatment program. However, individual patient needs are always considered in determining length of stay. Most patients experience a residential treatment program that averages 17-30 days in length.

Our counselors, chaplains, physicians, nurses and psychologists work together to meet the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of each individual. Patients receive more than 40 hours per week of individual counseling, pastoral sessions, family therapy and group therapy. For some patients, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is recommended, which combines behavioral therapy and medications to treat substance abuse disorders. In addition, all patients learn about the different stages of addiction treatment and the continuum of care available to sustain their recovery. Patients are also active in local 12-step meetings where they can find support from people who have been down the road of addiction themselves.

Another vital component of residential treatment is family care designed to help families heal together. Through family and small group sessions and interactive lectures, families will understand the disease and learn behaviors that support their loved one’s recovery.

Nourishment for the body is also an important (and enjoyable) part of your stay. Our kitchen and dietary staff prepare nutritious, home-style meals seven days a week.

To find out if residential treatment makes sense for you, call us at 1-800-544-5101 or complete an admissions form online. Treatment begins with a thorough patient assessment that includes medical history/physical exam, nursing assessment, psycho-social history and psychological screening assessment.
