Our dual diagnosis outpatient program also serves as a vital steppingstone during the transition from inpatient treatment to everyday life in recovery.

Our outpatient treatment approach blends co-occurring therapies, 12 Step philosophy and innovative clinical methods to treat alcohol and drug addiction effectively and support you on the path to a healthy, productive life in recovery.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Omaha PHP Addiction Treatment Overview

The Valley Hope of Omaha PHP Addiction Treatment program provides a highly structured, specialized outpatient option. Patients attending our Nebraska PHP program meet Monday – Friday for day or evening treatment for 20 sessions (four weeks). Our day treatment is from 9AM - 1:30PM, with lunch included. Our evening treatment is from 4:30 - 9PM, with dinner included.

Partial Hospitalization Program sessions include psychoeducation, group therapy, mindfulness practice, and practice processing. Patients will learn about topics including the effect of addictive substances on the brain and body, family dynamics, relapse prevention, building a support system, 12 Step education, coping skills, the biological aspects of addiction, and more. PHP patients also practice activities that will help them build tools to increase coping skills such as practicing gratitude, mindful expression, writing, completing a daily inventory, and creating a custom relapse prevention plan.
