- 2022: What's Up With Your Cup?
Which Valley Hope location did you attend?
Valley Hope of Parker
How did the process of creating your Coffee Cup influence your treatment experience?
Was a nice transition to think about life after Valley Hope of Parker, helped me picture some motivating factors to push for sobriety.
What is the inspiration behind the design of your cup?
Blue was used to represent new hope and depth of character, I have my kids names on there to remind me that they needed me to be sober and they are honestly a huge part of my motivation, trees for nature and the benefit of trees to my life, just for today to remind me to take it one day at a time, love, redemption, and serenity for the power and grounding to remain sober, coloroado to remind me that I love Colorado, and A-a-Ron to represent that the best version of myself is going to be sober!
Reflecting on where you were when you first created your cup, what does your cup mean to you today?
Just represents how far one day at a time will take you. I am clean and sober for over 2 years and Valley Hope of Parker was a huge part of my success, the fact that I was at rock bottom when I made this cup and somehow kept grinding to be where I am today is amazing. I am very thankful.
Any additional comments?
I just want to honor the cups of the people I went to Valley Hope of Parker with who have no been lost to addiction and my thoughts and prayers go out to their friends and families.
