Our Foundation

Valley Hope is committed to providing proven, high quality treatment for individuals with substance use disorder and their families. Our multi-disciplinary team works together to treat the whole person--mind, body and spirit. Our approach is rooted in evidenced based practices and treating each person with compassion and respect.

Valley Hope is built on the belief that addiction is a treatable disease. With proven therapies and tools, persons whose lives are disrupted by addiction can sustain long-term recovery and find a new way of life.

Valley Hope recognizes that every person is unique. Our treatment plans are individualized ensuring that each person recieves the help they need. Patient success is defined by abstinence and overall increased life satisfaction. We offer support for family members who have been impacted by addiction and recognize the importance of healing the entire family. Addiction may never go away, but together we can offer hope and change lives one person at a time.

Campaign Initiatives

Valley Hope seeks to invest more than $15 million into treatment scholarships, program enhancements, equipment, renovation and construction projects as part of the BUILDING HOPE Comprehensive Campaign.

Treatment Assistance
Treatment Assistance
Treatment Assistance

Valley Hope seeks current and deferred gifts to assist patients who otherwise are unable to afford treatment.

VH-Alumni2

Valley Hope residential treatment facilities require significant renovation and expansion – specifically in the area of detox services. The current opiate epidemic continues unabated and requires Valley Hope to expand its detox centers at its residential treatment facilities.

Thanks to the vision and generosity of many since 2000, Valley Hope Foundation has built an endowment of $4 million.  Named endowed funds may be established at Valley Hope Foundation or gifts may be made to the General Endowed Fund.  Current and deferred gifts can be made for endowment purposes.  Treatment scholarships, equipment and recovery programs can be funded by your endowed funds.

In Memorium

The Valley Hope family is mourning the loss of a great man, a man who played a vital role in building the foundation of
Valley Hope over 50 years ago and subsequently served as the President/CEO of the organization until his retirement in 1993. Without Dr. Leipold’s hard work, support, selflessness and passion for treating the alcoholic and addict, Valley Hope would not have been possible.

His legacy lives on.

It has been said that, “the life given us, by nature is short; but the memory of a well-spent life is eternal.”
