Accessible Care Effective Support Services (AC/ESS) is an online addiction treatment program that offers flexible and individualized addiction treatment in our online therapy room. AC/ESS offers multiple programs that includes Intensive Outpatient, IOP Plus, Family IOP, and DUI Services.
AC/ESS Intensive Outpatient (IOP) includes a blend of on ground/face to face therapy, phone therapy, and electronic transmission (online treatment), which provides structured support and monitoring. Individuals are expected to spend at least 9 hours per week on addiction treatment activities. Individual therapy is conducted once a week, either in person or over the phone.
Multiple counselor-patient contacts also occur throughout the week, either over the phone or through private messaging in the virtual therapy room. The online addiction treatment program uses a virtual therapy room which contains lectures, group work, and assignments for patients to complete during their addiction treatment. AC/ESS Intensive Outpatient (IOP) patients must attend an initial assessment face to face. Patients in this program are expected to complete 18 treatment modules in the virtual therapy room. These modules include sharing assignments with the AC/ESS addiction treatment counselor and other patients in the group. Family IOP is offered to any family member that is wanting his/her own treatment and does not have a patient currently in our residential or outpatient system. Family IOP includes nine hours per week of treatment for three weeks in our online addiction treatment room. Family IOP members are offered an individual session each week via phone or in person and also have their own treatment plan. Family IOP members complete 11 modules and participate daily in group discussions on the disease of addiction, enabling, and other family dynamics with addiction. DUI Services currently is offered in the online therapy room as well.
DUI Services are offered through the Arizona continuum only at this time. AC/ESS conducts DUI screenings, revocation packets, DUI education and DUI treatment classes. The DUI education and treatment classes are conducted in our online therapy room. Screenings and revocation packets do need to be facilitated in person prior to entering our DUI programming. DUI education classes are 16 hours and DUI treatment classes are 32 or more assigned hours, which is determined at the time of the screening.
IOP Plus is offered at many of our Valley Hope outpatient centers. It includes attending a face-to-face group Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for 1.5 hours each. The rest of the therapy is conducted online with a counselor and other participants in the group. For this program specifically, call your local outpatient center for more information.
