Valley Hope’s 70-bed treatment center in Cushing, OK, is located midway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Housed in a stately mansion on a large acreage overlooking the city of Cushing, the center provides a rural, relaxed setting to ensure a comfortable atmosphere for healing. Much of the architecture and structure of the mansion remain as they did in the late 1920’s with limited renovations which simply enhanced the grounds even more for those seeking treatment.
The treatment milieu includes assessments/evaluations, psycho-educational and 12 Step discussion groups, individual and small group counseling, spiritual counseling, and opportunities to attend 12 Step meetings. Addiction treatment is highly individualized, and lengths of stay vary depending on therapeutic need. Patients work with their individual counselor to develop a continuing care plan so that they continue to receive the treatment and support they need, long after leaving the residential treatment center.
Cushing Valley Hope opened its doors in 1974. The program is state licensed and JC accredited. All counselors are state certified or licensed clinicians with a passion for helping every person that walks through our doors.
Our staff works hard to ensure that every patient and their family members are treated with dignity and respect. At Valley Hope, we have always recognized the importance of family participation in the recovery process. An addiction can destroy families as much as it destroys the individuals who are admitting to addiction treatment (rehab).
We also have a special focus on our alumni and offer a Renewal Day the third Friday of each month. We ask that our alumni come back and visit that day just to renew the willingness and compassion for recovery that already lies within.
Our admission staff is available 24/7 and is happy to discuss the treatment process. We strive to keep our admission process simple because we know making the decision to enter treatment is sometimes difficult. If you have any questions or would like to talk to someone about an admission, please feel free to give us a call. If you would like to tour the facility or are a professional looking for a referral source, please feel free to contact us.
We do believe that addiction is a treatable disease, and with help, our patients and families begin the process of recovery.
