Valley Hope’s 64 bed residential addiction treatment center in central Missouri is located amidst the rolling hills of Boonville, MO, and conveniently positioned just off I-70,  100 miles east of Kansas City, 20 miles west of Columbia, and about two hours from St. Louis, MO. Our Boonville facility features recently renovated rooms in a cottage-style, semi-private living atmosphere on a wooded eight acre campus.

Since opening our doors in 1981, Boonville Valley Hope has treated thousands of individuals and family members and continues to nurture a strong relationship with our alumni.

We provide a variety of addiction treatment options to patients ages 16+ including medically monitored detoxification, residential and partial/day, continuing care and family addiction treatment services.

A typical day of addiction treatment includes psycho-educational and 12 Step discussion groups, individual and small group counseling, spiritual counseling, and opportunities to attend 12 Step meetings. Treatment is highly individualized, as is our length of stay. Patients work with their individual counselor to develop a continuing care plan so that they continue to receive the treatment and support they need, long after leaving the residential treatment center.

All counselors at Boonville Valley Hope are state certified or licensed clinicians with a passion for helping every person that walks through our doors. Our staff works hard to ensure that every patient and their family members are treated with dignity and respect. We recognize that making the decision to come to treatment is not an easy one but we know that patients who complete our treatment often experience a transformation that is nothing short of miraculous.

Valley Hope has always recognized the importance of family involvement in the process of recovery. An addiction can destroy families as much as it destroys the individuals who are admitting to treatment. Boonville Valley Hope offers family programming during the week and on the weekends. We also offer online family treatment which is a great resource for those family members that want to be involved but may not be able to travel.

Boonville Valley Hope’s eight acre campus provides a picturesque setting for patients in treatment. On our grounds you will find gazebos – ideal for visiting or simply reflecting, walking trails, a basketball court, and sand volleyball pit.

Our admission staff is available 24/7.  We accept most forms of private insurance.  Self-pay options are also available. Boonville Valley Hope is licensed by the Department of Mental Health in Missouri and accredited by the Joint Commission (JC).
