Denver Valley Hope offers a six-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with morning and evening options. IOP is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, from 8:30-11:30 am or Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6-9 pm. The sessions include group therapy, family counseling, educational lectures and films, relapse prevention and 12 Step program work. In addition to the traditional IOP program, Denver Valley Hope offers our innovative AC/ESS online program which enables our patients to access high-quality professional counseling services at any time and from any location. The AC/ESS  program includes Intensive Outpatient, Family Outpatient and Continuing Care services. Assessment and evaluation services are also available, as well as individual counseling. Patients may receive up to one year of continuing care.

Valley Hope sees substance abuse as an illness that impacts all of those connected to the substance abusing person. Because of this belief, we offer support for loved ones of the substance abuser. This group is offered each Friday. We also offer an Intensive Family Group Program through AC/ESS which includes three weeks of daily intensive support and education about substance abuse and the impact it has on loved ones. These family groups teach coping skills to manage the relationship struggles involved. We hope you will consider one of these options in seeking help and recovery.

We accept most forms of private insurance.  Self-pay options are also available. Denver Valley Hope is licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services and accredited by the Joint Commission.

Donna is the Community Services Clinician for Valley Hope’s Colorado continuum for alcohol, drug and related treatment services. Donna’s pilgrimage with Valley Hope began in 1999. She is a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Addictions Counselor level III. Her years in this field bring an array of experiences- – from working with the addicted person, facilitating a family program, and couples work, to working in the community reaching out to professionals working with substance abusers. Connecting with professionals over the years has led to a ‘follow up’ provider list to refer Valley Hope patients to when they leave Valley Hope services. Her passion is helping the addicted person and their family find their way into recovery; assisting them to a facility that offers quality care that best fits ‘their’ individual needs.
